After teaching at the University of São Paulo for five years, I decided to focus exclusively on helping international students master the everyday Portuguese that Brazilians actually use. Too often, I saw students who could recite grammar rules perfectly but struggled with real conversations.

My teaching philosophy centers around authentic language acquisition. From day one, students in my classes learn how Brazilians really speak—including slang, idioms, and cultural references that you won't find in textbooks. I'm particularly interested in the regional variations of Portuguese across Brazil and help students understand these differences.

I believe in learning by doing. My sessions are highly interactive with 80% of the time dedicated to speaking practice. I use authentic materials like Brazilian news clips, music, and social media content to teach language as it's actually used. Students receive personalized feedback and targeted exercises to address their specific challenges.
